Operation Smile
GoFor24 has had the privilege of raising funds for Operation Smile on numerous occasions. Operation Smile is an international medical charity that provides free, safe, corrective surgery for children born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. These children incur difficulties in eating, drinking, speaking and socialising and some may even lose their lives before their first birthday due to malnutrition. In many regional countries a lack of access to free, safe healthcare can cost lives. By partnering with Operation Smile UAE, GoFor24 are intent on helping provide appropriate healthcare for children in need and we too believe that: Every Child Deserves a Smile.
WWF
For over 50 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The world’s leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by more than one million members in the United States and close to five million globally. WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature. Their work in the UAE currently focuses on driving action on climate change, biodiversity conservation and wildlife trade in addition to environmental education and partnering with the business and government communities to drive sustainable practices.
Down’s Syndrome Association
The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) is a charity that helps people with Down’s syndrome, their families and professionals. Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. GoFor24 began its journey supporting the UK Down’s Syndrome Association and working with their London office kicked off the inaugural event in 2009.
